system. It's floating point possibilites, combined with the famous
playback engine of IRIDAS makes Speedgrade a powerful DI Application.
The DI Version can be used for hi-res film apps.
Speedgrade HD supports video workflows. Quicktime and AVI is therefore supported. Video up to HD can be edited and graded.
Speedgrade OnSet is used to preview single frames directly on the set. Different kind of looks and color spaces can be simulated to give an idea of the processing results. The small metadata .look files can be exchanged with a full grown Speedgrade system. If you are going to shoot HD, HDV or Filmstream with a Viper and you want to have color management on set, this is the first choice.
The Framecycler Product Family, including DDS and
DI Versions are mighty tools to playback, conform, compare, analyze and
for primary color manipulation. Forget about 2K and 4K - think of the
next level. Because of its scalability in the upper class versions, it
is possible to have infinite resolution playback, only restricted by
the hardware.
